Beverley & Tom enjoyed a beautiful summer day for their wedding at St Nicholas Church in Canewdon, Essex. Their special day was the relaxed, informal occasion that they’d hoped for, complete with a visit from a Rossi’s ice-cream van! Beverley & her guests tucked into ’99s’, perfect to cool everyone down in the sunshine! Their reception was one of the first to be held in the lovely new orangery at The Lawn in Rochford, & the hand-made gingerbread figures made perfect place settings!
Our work experience student Grace had a fantastic time modelling for our Sweet Sixteen Photography portfolio! “It was an amazing day and I’m so pleased with the photos!” Grace got involved in preparations for our launch party, so has learned as much about wallpapering and event-planning as she has about photography!

They all did a fantastic job ~ and enjoyed every minute of it too! . . . We have lift-off!! . . . Operation Sweet Sixteen has been a massive undertaking over the past month or so. We finally had everything in place for the launch party yesterday, even if we did have only one second to spare (literally, we were still doing the finishing touches to our make-up when our guests started to arrive!).The launch prompted us to completely decorate the shop (inside and out!) in time for us to unveil the photo’s and products to our guests and models. All of us here were stacked up against it, the huge to do list and the very short space of time in which to finish it all was manic, (to say the least), but, true to form we managed it.
The party was a huge success and everyone had a lovely time. It seems there’s lots of interest out there for Sweet Sixteen Photography, and all of us here at Studio Rochford are very enthusiastic and exhilarated about its future!
We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all our photoshoot suppliers ~ based here in Rochford. Ellis Hairdressing, Rio, Purple Rose and The Lawn have all been amazingly supportive and we couldn’t have done it without their help…. And of course our sincerest thanks to our beautiful and handsome models, they were brilliant!

We haven’t had much time to update the blog lately as we are busy working away on a fantastic new product to be launched later this month! We are SO excited about our new project and can’t wait to go public on it!! But for now…there’s more to be organised…so we’ll report back as soon as we can!!! Studio Rochford are looking forward to meeting lots of brides and grooms at the Hearts Essex Wedding Fair being held at The Brentwood Centre this weekend. Look out for us on Stand 33!
Our second outing of the year will be to the annual wedding fair at one of our favourite venues, The Lawn, Rochford, where we are one of their recommended wedding photographers.
As always it promises to be a great day and we are just hoping that the thaw continues, otherwise our feet are likely to freeze in the marquee!

There were no problems in taking on her husband’s name for bride Rebecca when she married Simon at St Lawrence Church, Eastwood as coincidentally they shared the same name already! The couple celebrated with family and friends at The Lawn, Rochford.
Gemma & Graeme had a rather special ‘bridesmaid’ at their Wedding Ceremony held at The Lawn, Rochford; it was Gemma’s much loved dog Jasmine! Jasmine even accompanied Gemma’s flower-girl Ellie down the aisle!
